Drop in at the Bodo Archaeological Site and Centre and learn about the archaeology and history of the Bodo area. We have many interesting finds on display and in our lab including bone fragments, arrowheads, pottery sherds and stone and bone tools, some dating back thousands of years. The full adventure includes a tour of the interpretive centre and the excavation site and hands on activites for both kids and adults! Be driven visit to a bison rubbing stone and learn about past bison behavior in the area, glacial erratic’s in Alberta and how glaciers have impacted the last 13,000 of history and life on the Great Plains (an additional 45 minutes and $10/person)
Guided overlook hill/traditional plant hike (an additional 1.5 hours and $15/person).
Visit a naturally filling watering hole and the nearby sand-dunes and snap a pic to tell people you were in a desert (an additional 30 mins and $5/person).

My tour guide was obviously enthusiastic about her job and very knowledgeable. I was a lone participant on my tour but never felt like I was wasting my guide’s time. I feel I got the same attention that a group would have gotten.
